Homeschooling is being taught or teaching yourself at home without being affiliated with an outside school. Your parent or guardian will have to officially remove you from your school district and sign a form stating an intent to homeschool. If your parent or guardian fails to do this, but you proceed with homeschooling, you will be considered a drop-out. In many states, dropping out before age eighteen is illegal, so make sure to do homeschooling right.
